I like the background color! Maybe I would have gone for something slightly more towards black but thats only a tiny detail. The text doesnt tickle my pickle though, its creative but a bit too chaotic and messy.

thanks for the comments man. Ya i agree with the text work. i was just goin to town with illy and then when I showcased it to my professor, she decided she wanted to use it for the portfolio show. I would have loved to maybe use the text as some what of a background, or at least make it more dynamic, but I was already done with it so I just slapped it on there.
ps: my crappy 512mb laptop took 2 hours just to save to 300dpi jpeg. just to give you a taste of wat im workin with here

ya, thats what I thought at first. but I thought id try something different, I tend to do the parchment, old paper type thing. which works really well, but with the color intensity, I was thinking a darker color would work better. I did put a texture on it, but you cant quite see it unless you have your screen calibrated.
